Introduction

I am an all around sports fan in my 30's. I got into the sport of mountain biking while I lived in Northern Virginia and I love the opportunity to be outdoors and getting some exercise.

How often and where do you like to ride?

I ride as often as possible. I live in the city and Tryon is close, so I am there a few days a week. I also love to ride at Letchworth, Hollister, Shindangin, and OCP.

What is your current weapon(s) of choice? 26", 29er, hard tail, fully, carbon, etc...

Yeti 575 and Cube Hanzz

How would you rate your technical riding ability 1-5? ..................... 1 "Smooth and easy" .......... 3 "Rocks, roots, logs & drops are ok with me" .......... 5 "I'm a downhill machine, rocky, rooty drops at high speeds!"

I feel that my skills are above average, but I ride for fun, not competition.

How would you rate your climbing ability 1-5? ............................... 1 "I climb because I have to, not because I want to" .......... 3 "Climbing doesn't really bother me" ............... 5 "Lance, I climb it because its there and I like it!"

There is some SAWEET technical riding at HiTor. It's not all fire roads, like everyone thinks. It's one of my most favorite spots! Locks of roots and rocks and little creek crossings and killer up hills and downs.

Hey Eric, you know when I saw your name come up as a new member I was thinking back to those high school days but I figured there was no way it was the DuPont I knew so many years ago. It will be good to get together and reminisce while having some fun. Looking forward to riding with you!

Hey Eric. I love my Yeti. Looks like you have one too.? I was just at Tryon on Tuesday. I live in Greece so I would love to go to Tryon more often but the tails grow in so quick. Tuesday was already starting to fill in on many trails. I'm very sensitive to poison ivy so I avoid trails that grow in. Hopefully Tryon trails will officially open to bikes so that trail maintenance can occur more often. I'm always looking for new trails so I hope to find some through this site.
